Alan Kyerematen returns to NPP

Former aspiring standard bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr. Alan Kyerematen has rescinded his decision to resign from the party. In a statement signed by Mr. Kyerematen and issued in Accra today, he said his decision followed a passionate appeal from the party elders, President Kufuor and the Standard bearer, Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and an assurance that his concerns raised on the various matters will be addressed in a timely manner.

Mr.Alan Kyerematen's come back followed a critical meeting at the Castle Osu,  which was attended by party loyalists like Apenteng Appiah Menka and Madam Ama Busia, all being members in the NPP Council of elders, the Standard bearer of the party, and President Kufuor.

The statement expressed the hope that Mr. Alan Kyerematen’s decision will contribute to the further strengthening of the party.
